The students will be taught and practice DeRech Eretz and adequate conduct. Expectations will be explained and taught, assuring that the students fully comprehend and have opportunity to practice.
Our approach process is done with explanations, in a positive and respectful manner even when the child makes a mistake; explaining and practicing again and again.
The students will always be rewarded (positive reinforcement) when they conduct themselves in the proper way or when they are making positive choices. The rewards (incentive) will be both verbal such as, encouragements, praises, and compliments as well as tangible such as play money (which can be redeemed for privileges), food, games, and toys. Similarly, for inappropriate conduct (Chutzpa, or hostility) the students’ privileges will be postponed until they make amends according to Cheder behavior expectations.
